After seeing so many new players just leaving loot on the ground, I realized there was some basic stuff they just didn't know, so thought I'd start this thread for newbies. Please add any advice to new players you think may be helpful.

1a) - FIRST: Once you make a new character and log in, log back out to the character creation screen, then log that character back in. This will correct the bug that makes first born characters not animate correctly. Note: Unless you enjoy looking like Michael Jackson, forget this advice. ^^

1) - Press the ALT key to Toggle yor ability to "SEE" the loot mobs drop.

2) - Use your SPACE BAR to pick loot up. Only picks up one item at a time, so keep pressing if you have more stuff to pick up.

3) - Do all the quests; at least for the first 15 levels if you can deal with it. Many of the quests lead to some great rewards, like elemental stones and reinsforcement potions.

4) - Chantra Shop shortcut key is T. Check out what you can get for the credits you are given each month a subscription renews. Pay particular attention to the talisman that give you percent boost to XP and Coin drops.
